The Politics and Economy professor did not show up. I wonder whether she is going to take this subject seriously. I am not that keen on the topic, and if this situation continues, I will certainly keep that idea...
But anyway, Postmodern Theories time.
I am to confess that this subject has generated a great deal of expectations in me. You know, the kind of "How is it going to like?", "Am I going to enjoy it?", "Am I going to even be able to understand what the subject is about?". So many questions, and most of them unsolved before having the first class.
Professor Dora seems to know what she really is into... funny, is not it? Of course she does, or otherwise she would not have been chosen to teach it. What I like about her at the moment is that she is congruent with her ideals, which is sort of difficult to do. I think it has to do with the idiosyncrasy of the subject in general. I am looking forward to getting into some debates and discussions regarding the topics we are expected to fulfil.
The dynamics of the class seem to be interesting enough, and so far I have liked a couple of activities which I have not seen before (the letters activity and the enquiry about expectations). Fortunately, I am not biased by any psychological paradigm (not that I will ever be), so I reckon I will be able to maintain a fair judgement over the topics we will study. Oh, and I like the idea of keeping a daily record of the thoughts we come up with everyday. I utterly enjoy writing.
No assignments. See you next Thursday. :D
